Etsy Week :: Pretty Tape

I’m rounding up Etsy Week with the Pretty Tape shop. This shop is fabulous because they sell gorgeous Japanese & Korean masking tapes but they are based out of Dallas, Texas. Most of the tape shops on Etsy ship from overseas so it’s a plus in the shipping department that they are on US soil.There are so many ways to use cute masking tape… tape that family photo to a Christmas card, close a cute glassine bag, put in on a blank piece of stationary and you will have the cutest letter that ever went through the mail.With so many designs and options, you’ll be sure to find something you like here. I’m working on becoming more crafty so I plan to order from this shop soon. Have a great weekend! Hope I didn’t turn you into an Etsy fool this week. It can be a very dangerous place if you’re monitored! With so many great finds, you may go broke. Just warning you now. Ta ta!

Etsy Week :: Ready Go

I have been adoring this shop from afar for a long time now. The cake toppers Nadia of Etsy shop Ready Go makes make me want to divorce my huz and remarry him just so we can invite these darling things to the party.Look at the cute options she gives you so she can turn you into a cake person. Adore it.She has so much eye candy in the shop. You’ll probably die from cuteness.And seriously look how cute these are for a wedding… or any special date really. Love. Love. L O V E!Check out her shop and see for yourself. Now how should I go about asking my husband to have another wedding with me? Hmmmmm…

Etsy Week :: Paper Polaroid

I’m normally not much of a ‘heart’ girl but Etsy shop owner Candace of Paper Polaroid has me rethinking my position.I can imagine using these gorgeous, but super cool, paper heart garlands sooooo many different ways and for so many different reasons. Baby showers, bridal showers, 50th (or 1st) anniversary parties, on a bride & groom’s chair, hanging overhead, above a baby’s crib… the list is endless. They are sweet but not too sweet. (Am I describing myself? Ha!)After reading Candace’s profile page, I realize why I love these so much. She has TWO boys! I swear I think almost everyone I’ve met in this party world has two boys! We gotta unleash our inner girl through crafts, I guess. Super beautiful stuff! Make sure to check it out for yourself here.

Etsy Week :: In The Clear

In The Clear is another recent Etsy find. Although I have not ordered from the personally yet, I have seen their items in person and can tell you that the quality is fabulous.This shop is a party-throwers dream! One stop shopping for everything from clear cellophane bags in EVERY size imaginable, to fun striped goodie bags, dotted nut cups, paper straws, baker’s twine and so much more. Their stuff is fun and unique. I am dying to throw a french fry party just so I can use these bags.This shop is one of the most comprehensive party shops I’ve found on Etsy – which means you may be able to get everything you need in one shot. Pretty nice if you ask me.Happy shopping! I know that I’ll be ordering up some of this fun stuff soon.

Etsy Week :: Aedriel Originals

Hi everyone! I decided to dedicate this week to showcasing some of my favorite party shops on Etsy. There is no better way to kick of the week than with sharing with you the insane talent and true passion of Aedriel Moxley of Aedriel Originals. I’m sure the photos speak for themselves, but I really do have to gush about her and her work a little bit. Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of getting to “meet” her via email after placing a big order for some plates. I honestly do not think I have met someone with more zest and enthusiasm for what they do and that is so very apparent in the quality of her work. I received the plates and was absolutely blown away by the beauty of her steady hand – she handpaints everything herself! Her handwriting is to die for as well. My sister, brother and I ordered the plates above with our children’s birthdays on them. She wrote their names on the back which adds to the personalized feeling. Aren’t they cool?I am seriously coveting these mugs. So pretty all together like that!I think anything in her shop makes for a fabulous birthday present or hostess gift. I plan on giving the next person who throws me a party that chevron cake stand as a thank you. (Uh oh! I have a feeling a bunch of people will want to be finding a reason to throw me a blow out!)Her newest item in the shop is this “You are special today” plate. How perfect for a family… it can rotate for any reason. Birthdays, first day of school, first loose tooth. Just darling. Please take some time to take a gander at Aedriel’s shop and know that if you chose to buy something, you will be supporting someone so fabulous, so kind, and so grateful. I know first hand how fun she is to work with. I hope you get a chance to find out for yourself. (PS: I think she’s having a special promotion throughout July as well, so make sure to read her Etsy announcements to find out what it is.) If you want to see more from her, she’s also the gal behind the Blissfully Smitten blog. How talented can you get?
